Birol Celep, Vice Chair of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) said that extreme fluctuations in foreign exchange paralyze all sectors.
Pointing out that the extreme fluctuation in the foreign currency paralyzed all sectors, EİB Vice Chair and Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association Chairperson Birol Celep said, “Confidence cannot exist where there is no stability and life cannot continue where there is no trust.”
“All these variables and the environment of uncertainty is a huge burden on the exporter’s shoulders. We used to be able to tolerate these loads at high rates and now that’s gone,” Celep added.
“The exchange rate, which was 17.3 on Monday, came to 11.4 at the moment. There is no industry that can handle this. All these things mean that the export sector has been hit hard.” Celep warned…
