Export volume reached 720 million dollars in the first nine months of 2025 and the sector is on track to reach its year-end export target of 1 billion dollars.

In the Global Pasta Sector, Türkiye continues to strengthen its position as the world’s second-largest pasta exporter, behind Italy. According to 2024 data, Türkiye, which accounts for 26.4 percent of global pasta trade, is expected to export 1.5 million tonnes, challenging Italy’s 42 percent share. Italy and Türkiye lead the way among leading exporters, followed by countries such as Thailand, the US and Spain. Türkiye’s share of the global pasta market in global pasta exports has soared from 17.6 percent since 2015 to 26.4 percent in 2024, placing it as the closest country to the top in the last decade.
