Seedless raisins became the export leader among dried fruits this season.
While exporting 203 thousand tonnes of raisins worth of 393 million dollars between September 1, 2020 and July 31, 2021, Türkiye exported 232 thousand tonnes of raisins in the same period in the 2021/22 season and recorded 408 million dollars in foreign currency.
While England maintained its top position with Turkish grape demand of 102.6 million dollars, seedless raisins of 58.2 million dollars were exported to Germany.
