EIB’s annual export is close to 18 billion dollars…
Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) escalated its exports by 10 percent from 1 billion 547 million dollars to 1 billion 702 million dollars in June. Turkiye-wide export in June reached 23.4 billion dollars with an increase of 18 percent.
Aegean exporters expanded their exports by 21.3 percent from 7.6 billion to 9 billion 276 million dollars in the first half of 2022, while the foreign exchange earned by Aegean exporters to the country in the last year soared by 21.4 percent from 14 billion 774 million to 17 billion 934 million dollars.
While the industrial sector took the lion’s share of the EIB’s exports with an export of 957 million dollars, the agricultural sector achieved an export of 612 million dollars. The mining industry provided a foreign exchange return of 132 million dollars.
In the Aegean Exporters’ Association, which includes 12 exporters’ associations, 10 exporters’ associations managed to increase their exports in June, while 2 exporters’ associations fell behind their performance in June 2021.
