PRODUCTION AND EXPORT RECORD FROM TURKTRAKTOR…

TürkTraktör, the first manufacturer of the Turkish automotive industry and the leading company in agricultural mechanization, announced its financial results for the first quarter of 2023. In the three-month period covering the January-March period, TürkTraktör broke new records in production, exports and total sales. Compared to the first quarter of the previous year, there was a 19 percent increase in production, a 15 percent increase in exports and a 27 percent increase in total sales. TürkTraktör completed the first three months of the year with a net profit of TL 1 billion 398 million, while its operating profit margin and EBITDA margin for the same period were 18.3 percent and 19.1 percent, respectively. The total turnover of the company soared to 9 billion 523 million TL.

TürkTraktör Company Leader Aykut Özüner stated that they are proud to start 2023 with records after 2022, which was a successful year and said, “We are carrying our leadership in the Turkish tractor market to the 17th year without interruption in the first quarter of the year, where we continue to be the first choice of our farmers. We added new ones to our records with the best first quarter results we achieved in production, exports and total sales.”

“We continue to prepare agriculture and cities for the future with the tractors and construction machinery we produce, in line with our sustainability strategy, which we put forward by saying, ‘We have an impact on the future in every step we take today’. With our sustainability strategy, which we call ‘Influence on the Future’, we aim to extend our sphere of influence to our entire ecosystem. According to the financial results of the first quarter of 2023, TürkTraktör produced a total of 13 thousand 625 tractors in the January-March period. In the first three months, TürkTraktör sold 9,154 tractors to the domestic market and exported 5,058 tractors to foreign markets.
