The National Milk Council (USK) announced that the raw milk support subsidy for the months of October, November and December was determined as 40 kurush (kuruş).
Stating that the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry has fixed the raw milk support subsidy as 40 kurush for October, November and December, the National Milk Council (USK) declared the raw milk recommended price, which will be valid as of January 1, will be re-evaluated in December.
The National Milk Council (USK) discussed the raw milk prices at its meeting on October 9. In the statement made by the Council, the followings were recorded:
“As a result of the evaluation, it has been decided that the raw milk recommendation price will be re-evaluated within the USK, taking into account the current costs and taking the opinions of the sector stakeholders on December 2020, effective from January 1, 2021.”
