The future of the dairy industry lies in regenerative agricultural practices…

Some milk producers abroad are updating their existing sustainability initiatives with the vision of following the Regenerative movement, which means the conscious consumption of sustainably produced food products. For this, regenerative practices that support animal and soil health are being utilised.

This transformation in the dairy sector is an important indicator that regenerative agriculture is becoming the norm in the dairy sector.

According to a scientific study published in the journal Frontiers, the livestock sector is responsible for 14.5 percent of total human-induced greenhouse gas emissions. The dairy industry is the source of nearly 30 percent of these emissions, 2.1 gigatonnes of carbon dioxide per year.
