AEGEAN AGRICULTURAL EXPORTS INCREASE BY 19 PERCENT IN AUGUST…

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EİB) made an export of 1 billion 12 million dollars in August. As for August 2019, Aegean exporters signed an export of 1 billion 29 million dollars. Thus EİB’s exports decreased by 1.7 percent compared to August 2019.

Agricultural exports increased by 19 percent…

In August, exports of agricultural products from the Aegean Exporters’ Associations increased by 19 percent from 324.8 million dollars to 385.1 million. Exports of agricultural products made by EİB reached 5 billion 70 million dollars with a progress of 3 percent in a year.

Grain, Tobacco, Fresh Fruits and Textiles increased their exports the most…

Aegean Grain, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association, which broke export records every month in 2020, increased its exports by 53 percent in August and signed an export of 45 million 125 thousand dollars.

The Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB), which broke also an export record every month in 2020, increased its exports by 27 percent in August, reaching 85 million 411 thousand dollars. The last one-year export of EYMSİB, which aims to export 1 billion dollars for the end of 2020, climbed to 985 million 176 thousand dollars. It seems that EYMSİB will reach its target of 1 billion dollars in September if it maintains its current export performance.

Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association increased its exports to 80 million 445 thousand dollars with a rise of 9 percent in August.

Aegean Tobacco Exporters’ Association, which managed to boosted its exports by 39 percent in August, exported 69.3 million dollars.

Aegean Dry Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association raise its exports by 6 percent in August and signed an export of 50 million dollars.

While the Aegean Furniture, Paper and Forestry Products Exporters’ Association brought in 44 million dollars as foreign currency, the Aegean Textile and Raw Materials Exporters’ Association exported 17.7 million dollars.

Aegean Leather and Leather Products Exporters’ Association made an export of 9.9 million dollars, on the other hand Aegean Olive and Olive Oil Exporters’ Association brought in 8.5 million dollars as foreign currency to our country.
