The promotional event of Interfresh Eurasia Fair, which will be held in Antalya Anfaş with the main theme of “Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change” between October 20-22 this year, was hosted by Uludağ Exporters’ Associations.
Representing Uludağ Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (UYMSİB), Chairman of the Board Professor Dr. Senih Yazgan and ANTEXPO Fair Services Inc. General Manager Murat Özer, in their speeches at the press conference, made statements about the Interfresh Eurasia Fair, where fresh fruit and vegetable products, packaging, storage, logistics, agricultural machinery and technologies will be exhibited.
Speaking at the opening of the press conference, UYMSİB Chairman of the Board Professor Dr. Senih Yazgan said, “Interfresh Eurasia, which we care about because it is the only fair in its sector in Turkiye, will bring together producers, exporters, public and private sector, non-governmental organizations, academics and industry veterans. The exhibition, which will be held for the third time this year and to be export-oriented, will be arranged simultaneously with the Interfresh Eurasia Global Conferences, which will be attended by invited speakers from Turkiye and abroad.”
MAIN THEME ‘SUSTAINABLE AGRICULTURE AND CLIMATE CHANGE’
Sharing the information about Interfresh Eurasia Fair, ANTEXPO Fair Services Inc. General Manager Murat Özer also said that the fair, will be held with the main theme of ‘Sustainable Agriculture and Climate Change’ this year, Özer explained, “Especially in the fresh fruit and vegetable sector, consumers want to buy what they see and touch. Therefore, global market chains, mainly those in European countries and Russia, prefer to see the fruit and vegetables they will offer to the consumer in the place where they are produced.”
“In this sense, this international fair will bring together our fresh fruit and vegetable exporters with purchasing committees from abroad and Turkish fresh fruit and vegetables will be showcased in European and Russian chain markets,” he added…
