AGRICULTURAL INPUT PRICE INDEX GOES UP BY 17.52 PERCENT…

The agricultural input price index (Agriculture-GFE) increased by 17.52 percent on an annual basis and 2.72 percent on a monthly basis in December 2020.

Turkey Statistical Institute (TURKSTAT), announced that data related to agriculture GFE-December 2020 period.

Accordingly, the index increased by 2.72 percent in December 2020 compared to the previous month, 17.52 percent compared to December of the previous year, 17.52 percent compared to the same month of the previous year and 9.85 percent on the 12-month averages.

In terms of main groups, the index of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment rose by 2.23 percent and the index of goods and services used in agriculture rose by 2.8 percent in December last year, compared to the previous month.

Compared to the same month of the previous year, the index of goods and services used in agriculture soared by 17.03 percent and the index of goods and services contributing to agricultural investment went up by 20.58 percent.
