Expressing that this year’s yield and product quality are better than last year in seedless table Sultani grapes, which showed an export performance of 110 million dollars in 2020 and 160 million dollars in 2021, Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association (EYMSİB) Chairperson Hayrettin Uçak said that this year they expect 200 million dollars from seedless Sultani fresh grape exports. He also stated that they aim to export 250 million dollars in total fresh grape exports.

Uçak said, “While Turkiye earned 206 million dollars of foreign exchange from fresh grape exports in 2021, seedless table Sultani grapes received a 78 percent share from fresh grape exports with 160 million dollars.”
“On the other hand, Red Globe, which has shined in recent years, took the second place with 12 million dollars of exports, Superior, the early grape variety preferred by diabetes patients, brought Turkey 6.5 million dollars in foreign currency. While Yalova Pearl showed an export success of 6 million dollars, Razaki grape, which will start its export journey on August 15, also showed an export performance of 2.7 million dollars,” Uçak added…
