Exporters take the Black Sea region’s delicasies to the World Food Moscow Fair…

The Eastern Black Sea Exporters’ Association (DKİB) participated in the World Food Moscow Fair, one of the most prestigious events in the global food industry, held in Moscow, Russia, from September 16-19, 2025, to showcase the Eastern Black Sea Region’s outstanding food products on the international stage.

The stand showcased the region’s leading export items: hazelnuts, Turkish salmon, fresh fruits and vegetables, tea and dairy products. The products were also tasted and evaluated, particularly by Russian consumers.

Expressing their satisfaction with the interest shown in the Turkish products exhibited at the fair, DKİB Secretary General Ongan Bahadır stated that they participated in this fair, which aims to further boost exports to the Russian Federation, the Eastern Black Sea Region’s most important export market for both fresh fruit and vegetables and aquaculture and to ensure that our food manufacturing companies operating in the region capture a greater share of the Russian market.

“We were delighted to see every visitor who tasted our products leave our stand smiling,” he said.

Highlighting that they participated in the fair, which holds strategic importance for strengthening the regional food exporters’ positions in the Russian market, to strengthen existing ties and open new doors, he added, “We are pleased to lay the foundations for important collaborations for our exporters through one-on-one meetings with businesspeople from different countries.”

Bahadır also noted that Ambassador to Moscow Tanju Bilgiç, Chief Trade Counselors in Moscow Çiğdem Şamiloğlu Erkoç and Kadir Sarıkaya and Commercial Counselor Ahmet Onur Öztürk visited the DKİB stand and received information about regional exports…
