The Turkish Food Platform (TFP – TGP) has joined forces with the Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Industry Board, along with all its Exporters’ Associations, Federation of Food and Drink Industry Associations of Türkiye (TGDF) and ETÜDER. With the goal of becoming a top 3 global company, the Foodist Istanbul Food and Beverage Products Fair has launched preparations in collaboration with TÜYAP and ALZ for the Foodist Istanbul Food and Beverage Products Fair.
Ahmet Tiryakioğlu, Chairman of the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM) Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Sector Board, stated that Türkiye already holds a significant position in the global food sector with its fertile lands, strong production capacity and centuries-old agricultural expertise.
“However, we want to take this power even further on a global scale. Foodist Istanbul is not just a trade fair; it will be a meeting point that will showcase Türkiye’s vision, innovative approach, and international ambition in food exports,” he said.
Higlighting that through this fair, the producers and exporters will establish direct contact with buyers from around the world, new collaborations will emerge and the country’s food sector will be much more strongly represented in international markets, he added, “As the Cereals, Pulses, Oilseeds and Products Sector Board, we are working resolutely with all our stakeholders to realize this vision. Our goal is to make Foodist Istanbul one of the world’s largest and most respected food fairs and make Türkiye a true hub for food trade. I have full confidence that we will reach our goal in a very short time.”
