Türkiye ranks 1st in Europe for agricultural output!

Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı announced that according to the data of the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) and the World Bank, with an agricultural output of 68.5 billion dollars in 2023, Türkiye ranked 1st in Europe and among the top 10 countries in the world.

In a statement made on his social media account, Minister Yumaklı said, “The sweat of our farmers continues to add value to our country’s economy. According to FAO and World Bank data, Türkiye ranked 1st in Europe and among the top 10 countries in the world with an agricultural output of 68.5 billion dollars in 2023.”

“I sincerely congratulate all our sector stakeholders who contributed to this success. Thanks to all their efforts, Türkiye has managed to rank 1st in Europe and among the top 10 countries in the world with a 16 percent increase in terms of agricultural output in 2023 compared to the previous year,” Yumaklı added…
