Turkish food products were introduced in Japan…
Foodex Japan2025 Fair, the largest food fair in the Far East, was the stage for the show of Turkish food products between 11-14 March 2025.

Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB) organised Türkiye’s National Participation in Foodex Fair for the 25th time with the participation of 42 successful companies in the food sector in Türkiye and enabled 42 Turkish companies to hold more than 500 bilateral meetings with 150 Japanese importer companies in order for the country to get more share from Japan’s 70 billion dollars food imports.
EIB’s representatives, who visited Japan’s largest food fair Foodex Japan Fair with 42 Turkish food exporters, reached an agreement on the inclusion of Turkish cuisine in the curriculum of Otsuma Women’s University.

The TURQUALITY Project named Turkish Tastes, supported by the Ministry of Trade, which doubled the export of Turkish food products in the US market, will come to life in Japan. Turkish cuisine will be taught as a course at Otsuma Women’s University in Japan.
The chairpersons of the Board of Directors of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations returned home from Japan, where they travelled for the Foodex Japan Fair, with a new TURQUALITY Project in their saddlebags.

The TURQUALITY Project named Turkish Tastes, which was implemented by the Aegean Exporters’ Associations in 2019 to raise the awareness and consumption of Turkish food products in the United States and ramped up the export of Turkish food products to the USA from 750 million dollars to 1.6 billion dollars in 5 years, will promote Turkish food products in Japan to boost the country’s exports to Japan from 370 million dollars to 1 billion dollars.
