Ali Yılmaz Diker, Head of Edremit Chamber of Agriculture, reported that the ‘Körfez10’ olive variety was registered and put into production.
In Balıkesir province, Edremit Chamber of Agriculture Chairperson Diker stated that the new olive variety developed by the Edremit Olive Production Station Directorate after years of work will make a significant contribution to the olive producers in the region.
“Körfez10 is an important step for olive production in our region. I believe that it will be of great benefit to our Edremit district and the gulf, the Aegean Region and our country,” he said.
