“PANDEMIC HIGHLIGHTS HEALTH AND AGRICULTURE”

Tekirdağ Namık Kemal University (NKU) Vice-Rector and Turkey Government-University-Industry Cooperation Working Group (KÜSİ) President Professor Dr. Bülent Eker said that they will organize virtual exhibitions in order to contribute to Turkey’s promotion in international markets.

Stating that they want to draw the attention of academic and commercial stakeholders in Europe to Turkish technology and industry with the fairs they will hold as KÜSİ, Dr. Eker said, “We decided to carry out 4 activities until the end of the year. This virtual fairs will go one step further than the classical fairs and there will be no fees from the companies and they will be able to promote their companies by the end of the year.”

Eker noted that approximately 300 companies have applied to the fair where the companies showed great interest.

Emphasizing that they will be carrying R&D project markets into virtual environments and try to form R&D project markets across Turkey in further stages, Eker added, “The pandemic has highlighted health and agricultural sector globally.”

Eker also underlined that they will demonstrate how industrialization will be in these sectors with a workshop they will organize in a virtual environment.
