The Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (FAO) and the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) are launching a major publication, Digital Technologies for Agriculture in Türkiye, which takes a comprehensive look at the transformative impact of digital innovations on the country’s agricultural sector.

From smart irrigation systems to precision agriculture and e-commerce, the event sheds light on how AgTech solutions are revolutionising Türkiye’s agri-food systems, supporting productivity, sustainability and resilience. This roadshow provides a crucial opportunity to familiarise yourself with the discussions that could influence future investments, policies and innovations in the country’s agricultural sector.
Main findings of the report…
Digital transformation: While the agricultural sector, which contributes 5.5 percent to GDP and employs 17 percent of the workforce, is embracing digitalisation, small farms are struggling to access technology.
