Pınar Meat (Et) Reduced Carbon Emissions by 24,018 Tonnes in 2025!

As Türkiye’s first privately owned integrated meat processing facility, Pınar Meat (Et) has been working towards its goal of becoming a carbon neutral organization by 2050, without compromising its identity as a responsible producer since its establishment. Pınar Meat (Et) aims to reduce its greenhouse gas emission intensity by 30 percent and its water footprint by 15 percent by the end of 2030.
Hüseyin Demir, Vice Chair of Pınar Meat – Çamlı Feed Carbon Fattening (Pınar Et – Çamlı Yem Besicilik), stated that on World Environment Day, they will continue to develop active projects focusing on environmental sustainability in order to leave a healthy and livable life for future generations.
“We continue our work on protecting the environment, preventing environmental pollution, controlling the use of natural resources and disposing of waste. We are making steady progress towards our goal of becoming a ‘carbon-neutral’ organization by 2050 and we have reduced greenhouse gas emission intensity by 6.58 percent compared to the previous year,” he said.
