Türkiye’s fresh vegetable exports in the first six months of the year soared by 10 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 605,445,193 dollars. The most exported vegetables were tomatoes, peppers and zucchini respectively.

According to data from the Turkish Exporters’ Assembly (TİM), 1,692,165,000 dollars worth of fresh fruit, vegetables and citrus exports were achieved between January 1 and June 30. Vegetable exports accounted for 605,445,193 dollars of this amount.

Türkiye’s vegetable exports reached 549,609,432 dollars in the same period last year, while this year’s exports saw a 10 percent increase.

Tomatoes led the list of vegetable exports with 259,786,000 dollars. Tomato exports surged by 2 percent compared to last year. Peppers followed with 181,104,000 dollars, zucchini with 46,279,000 dollars, cucumbers with 35,606,000 dollars and onions with 20,467,000 dollars…
