“HAPPY WORLD REFRIGERATION DAY AS THE WORLD A WARMING AQUARIUM”

Sustainable Production and Consumption Association (SÜT-D) made a written statement on account of June 26, World Refrigeration Day and emphasized that our world is a constantly warming aquarium.

Professor of Istanbul Technical University and President of Sustainable Production and Consumption Association (SÜT-D), Dr. Filiz Karaosmanoğlu made a special statement on June 26, World Refrigeration Day.

Celebrated to announce the importance of refrigeration technology for life and society and raise awareness, this year, the important position in the transportation and storage of food, from field to table, with the emphasis on the indispensable place of the cold chain for food and health laid out for food safety.

Cold chain for life…

Dr. Karaosmanoğlu said, “The essence of the word, air conditioning is important in life, food and health safety, its position in the transportation and storage of food and medicine, vaccination, blood, organs along with food chain from field to table.”

Stating that the impact of cooling energy on climate change should be reduced, Dr. Karaosmanoğlu noted, “We have competent sector power for air conditioning compatible with nature. The presence of domestic and multinational brands, sectoral civil society and export competent sector power in our country is very important.”

Indicating that it is important for the supply of products that are compatible with nature and resistant to climate change, Dr. Karaosmanoğlu concluded, “We celebrate Turkey’s air conditioning sector. Happy World Refrigeration Day!”
