The Turkish fisheries and animal products sector, which meets the world’s protein needs across three meals a day, has maintained its strong presence on the ISO 500 List with 25 companies.

The seafood and animal products sector, one of Türkiye’s star sectors in exports, continues to be strongly represented on the Istanbul Chamber of Industry’s Top 500 Industrial Enterprises List – which comprises the giants of the industrial sector – with 25 firms; 11 of these 25 firms are members of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association.

Ufuk Atakan Demir, Chair of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association, stated that its 11 members had achieved a production-to-sales volume of 201 billion 114 million TL and expressed great pride and satisfaction at the success achieved by its members featured on the ISO 500 List.

The exports of these 11 firms exceed 1 billion dollars in 2025…

Demir, who reported that the 11 member companies of the Aegean Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association had achieved exports worth 926 million dollars in 2024, said: “The exports of our 11 companies rose to 1 billion 102 million dollars in 2025, marking a 19 percent spike. Our companies have made a significant contribution to our country not only in the domestic market but also through exports.
