TURKISH FROZEN FRUIT AND VEGETABLE EXPORTS CONTINUE TO RISE…

Frozen fruit exports increased by 32.07 percent and frozen vegetable exports increased by 1.32 percent in the January-September period of this year, especially in the Bursa region, compared to the same period last year.

In the frozen fruit group exports to 56 countries in total, the highest export was made to the USA. Exports to this country rose by 130 percent compared to 9 months of the previous year and reached 21 million 176 thousand dollars.

Exports to the USA accounted for 31.86 percent of total frozen fruit exports.

In the said product group, exports to Germany, which ranked second after the USA, grown by 35 percent to 11 million 508 thousand dollars.

Foreign sales to Canada, which is in the third place in the list, increased by 15.63 percent and reached 6 million 40 thousand dollars.

Frozen vegetable exports to 57 countries…

In the frozen vegetable exports, which were sent to 57 countries in 9 months of the year, the highest export was made to the USA.

In the January-September period of last year, 8 million 737 thousand dollars of products were sent to the USA and the exports made in the same period of this year rose by 25 percent to 10 million 922 thousand dollars.

Exports to Germany, the second most exported country, decreased by 9.45 percent to 6 million 535 thousand dollars.

Exports to the United Kingdom expanded by 0.55 percent to 6 million 202 thousand dollars.
