China International Import Fair introductory meeting was held by CIIE Fair Bureau at Istanbul Shangri-La hotel. At the relevant meeting, the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Signing Ceremony was held between the Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB), which organized the Turkish national participation of the Fair and the main organizer of the CIIE Fair.

Jak Eskinazi, Head of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, who made a presentation by taking the floor in the opening speeches at the introductory meeting, said, “We declared 2019 the ‘Year of China’ in the Aegean Exporters’ Associations. We established the ‘Chinese Team’ within our association. This team spends most of their time in China. We also organized ‘Target Market: China’ seminars in order to inform our exporters about the opportunities offered by the Chinese market and to introduce them to Chinese e-commerce platforms. In November 2022, we held a China Mini MBA Certificate Program for our members. We organized purchasing committees to bring our exporters together with Chinese importers.”
