Exports of raisins, dried figs and dried apricots run for 1 billion dollars before the 2019/20 season ends.
Seedless raisins export was 470 million dollars in the remaining part of the 2019/20 season and foreign exchange income was 250 million dollars from the export of dried apricots. Dried fig exports reached 222 million dollars.
Turkey has achieved a total export revenue of 942 million dollars from these three products.
While the UK inks the first place in Turkey’s exports of seedless raisins with amount of 138 million dollars, United States imported 35 million dollars dried apricots.
On the other hand, Germany and France shared the summit with an import of dried figs with 31 million dollars.
