ÇAYKUR has put a quota on daily purchases!
ÇAYKUR announced that the daily quota will be applied as 15 kg, excluding the Tirebolu region, on the grounds that the inventory stocks are high.
ÇAYKUR, which has made 65 thousand tons of purchases so far in its fresh tea purchase campaign, has announced that the daily quota will be applied as 15 kg for purchases, except for the Tirebolu region, on the grounds that the inventory stocks are high.
General Directorate of Tea Enterprises (ÇAYKUR) started to apply quotas for fresh tea purchases.
In the written statement of the institution on the subject, the following were noted:
“As it is known, 65,000 tons of fresh tea has been purchased by ÇAYKUR so far, including holidays, during the campaign, opened on May 19. However, although we process the ideal capacity tea in all our factories, our inventory of the purchasing place is over 12,000 tons.
As of today, except for the Tirebolu region, the daily quota will be applied as 15 kg and this quota will be increased at the rates that return to usual fresh tea processing capacity in our factories.
The important thing here is that our producers should collect their teas while the product is still fresh, by considering our current possibilities. As ÇAYKUR, we are committed to purchasing of tea in terms of the quota.”
