Cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products sector exports in Türkiye in February reached 1 billion 51 million dollars, while İHBİR’s exports amounted to 333 million dollars.
Istanbul Cereals Pulses Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association (İHBİR) announced the export figures for February. İHBİR’s February exports soared by 19.3 percent to 333 million dollars compared to the same month of the previous year, while the February exports of the cereals sector in the country rose by 27.9 percent to 1 billion 51 million dollars.
Türkiye-wide exports of the sector in the January-February period reached 2 billion 83 million dollars with an increase of 15.4 percent compared to last year, while İHBİR’s exports in the same period increased by 14.3 percent to 639 million dollars.
In February, the top three countries to which the sector exported the most were Iraq, the USA and Syria, while the top three countries to which İHBİR exported the most were the USA, Iraq and Germany, respectively…
