After bonito, anchovy began to decorate the fish stalls. With the withdrawal of the bonito, small fish began to emerge. Citizens turned to anchovy. Anchovy, whose weight was up to 100 TL, decreased to 50 TL. Stating that the fish will become more abundant with the cooling of the weather, the fishermen said that the prices may decrease.
“ANCHOVY STARTS TO COME OUT ABUNDANTLY”
Stating that there is an abundance of anchovies, fisherman Samet Balyemez said, “The price of anchovy did not decrease much this year, but today we sell it from 50 TL. Its weight has decreased from 100 TL to 50 TL. Horse mackerel is 100 liras, and bluefish is between 150-200 liras. Weather passing hot, bluefish likes cold weather. If the weather was cold, if we lived according to the season, we would have an abundance of bluefish right now. The season will be over on the first day of May. If the seasonal temperatures continue in their normal course until the end of the season, we will be able to eat plenty of bluefish, anchovies, bluefish.”
“There is a decrease in all fish, but on the contrary, anchovy started to appear abundantly. With the almost complete withdrawal of bonito from the seas, small fish are becoming abundant,” he added…
