Türkiye’s exports to China have risen by 41 percent…
The Aegean Exporters’ Associations (EIB), which have been working intensively in recent years to balance trade between Türkiye and China, will organise the country’s national participation at the China International Import Expo (CIIE), to be held in Shanghai from 5 to 10 November 2026.

Noting that Türkiye’s exports to China rose by 41 percent between January and September 2026, from 2.1 billion to 3 billion dollars, Muhammet Öztürk, Coordinating Chairman of the Aegean Exporters’ Associations, stated that their medium-term target is to boost exports to China to 10 billion dollars. He said that they will be organising Türkiye’s national participation in the China International Import Expo for the ninth time and will be working with 15 companies operating in the food, cosmetics, textiles and services sectors to boost the country’s exports to China.
Highlighting that China is set to become the world leader in exports by 2025 with exports totalling 3 trillion 772 billion dollars, Öztürk remarked, “China is not a distant country for imports, nor is it a distant country for exports. With imports totalling 2 trillion 583 billion dollars in 2025, China is the world’s second-largest importer. We need to view China not merely as a country, but as a continent.”
