Bülent Sarıkaya to represent Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association…

The Mediterranean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association held its 2025 Ordinary Elective General Assembly, electing its new management. In the election, which was conducted with a single list of candidates, Bülent Sarıkaya, representing Sarıkaya Agricultural Products and Transportation Industry Trade Ltd. Co., became the new Chairman of the Board. Sarıkaya took over the position from Ferhat Gürüz, opening a new era in the sector.

The new management structure formed at the general assembly brings together a strong team representing different areas of the sector, while Oğuzhan Altun from Altun Gıda and Mustafa Gökhan Soylu from Soylu Gıda were appointed as Vice Chairmen. The Board of Directors includes Okşan Eryılmaz from Tek Asya Tarım, Özbek Haldun Özler from Özler Tarım, Gazi Onur Kavak from Aktur Taşımacılık, İbrahim Can Hallaç from Meysen Gıda, Recep Er from Er Mey Tarımsal Ürünler, Remzi Oruç from Karaali Sentetik Dokuma and Bayram Arıdağ from Arıdağ Agro Paketleme. Süleyman Gökalp from Gökalp Construction assumed the role of Treasurer on the Board of Directors.

Evaluating the vision for the new term, Chairman Bülent Sarıkaya stated that they have identified sustainability in exports as a fundamental priority. Bülent Sarıkaya said, “Our priority is to establish an unshakeable bond between producers and exporters, thereby maximizing the global competitiveness of our sector.”

“In this regard, environmental sustainability, efficiency and value-added exports will be our focus. Optimizing logistics costs, increasing market diversification and taking strategic steps to strengthen our position in international competition will determine our course in the new term,” he added…
