Ali Yıldız: Our goal is to reach 50 million dollars in exports as Marmarabirlik

Marmarabirlik (Marmara Olive Agricultural Sales Cooperatives Union) Chairman Ali Yıldız stated that they achieved a record 35 million dollars in exports this year and are targeting 50 million dollars in exports in the short term by continuing with their appropriate production model. Yıldız noted that they have entered a new market in the cosmetics sector with innovative products, saying, “We’ve made a chocolate spread that contains no palm oil, but uses olive oil instead, that our youth and children can easily consume. It will be on their tables soon.”

Marmarabirlik Chairman Ali Yıldız met with journalists at the headquarters. Speaking at the press conference following the launch of the Integrated Facilities, Yıldız underlined that they have embraced a transparent management model and are focused on achieving their goals since taking office.

Pointing out that with our 30,000 partners, Marmarabirlik is the driving force of olive cultivation in Türkiye and globally, Yıldız said, “With this awareness, we always set our goals higher and pursue projects that will grow together with our producers.”

EXPORT TARGET: 50 MILLION DOLLARS!

Highlighting that they have reached a record export level this year, reaching 35 million dollars, Yıldız noted, “We have set a short-term export target of 50 million dollars by continuing with our export-friendly production model.”

Yıldız, who stated that their future goals include purchasing 70,000 tonnes of olives, added, “To ensure safe growth, we are committing to building a new 30,000-tonne storage facility with the latest modernization system. All our cooperatives will be able to use this storage facility.”
