Nihat Uysallı, Chair of the Central Anatolian Cereals, Pulses, Oil Seeds and Products Exporters’ Association, stated that the demand for pasta increases during periods of global crisis such as war and pandemic, and that Turkish pasta attracts great interest with its production and delivery advantages in such periods.
“We want to carry the positive image of Turkish pasta in the world even further with the branding activities we carry out under the leadership of our strong companies in the sector,” he said.
“Our biggest chance in this regard is the world-class quality of our durum wheat. If we can find the opportunity to enter new markets, we believe that we can ramp up our share in global trade from 6 per cent to 10 per cent,” he added…
