“Export figures to go higher with new markets”
Şanlıurfa Commodity Exchange Assembly Chairman İsa Kızıldemir stated that the increasing export of chilli pepper is pleasing for both producers and exporters.
Kızıldemir said that ‘hot’ is identified with Şanlıurfa and that the spike in the export of chilli peppers is also welcomed by the producers and that many exporter companies buy and export chilli peppers prepared from peppers grown in the Southeastern Anatolia Region, especially Şanlıurfa province.
Pointing out that the increase in production will also be reflected in export figures, Kızıldemir said, ‘The high export figures from the country are also of great importance in terms of contribution to the national economy. It is very important in this respect that the figures continue to increase in chilli pepper exports.”
“In the first half of this year, we exported chilli peppers to 83 countries and we believe that these export figures will go higher with our new products and new markets this year,” he added.
