In the first 3 months of the year, 59 million 759 thousand dollars worth of peanut exports were made to 66 countries from Türkiye.
Peanut, which attracts great interest from farmers due to its high economic gain and wide usage area, is produced in 22 provinces of Türkiye, mainly Şanlıurfa and Gaziantep regions.
According to the information compiled by the Anatolian Agency (AA) correspondent from the data of the Southeastern Anatolia Exporters’ Associations (GAİB), 229 million 777 thousand dollars worth of peanuts were exported to 96 countries in 2024.
In the January-March period of this year, 59 million 759 thousand dollars of income was obtained from peanut exports to 66 countries.
Italy is one of the countries to which Türkiye exports the most peanuts. In the first quarter of this year, 18 million 546 thousand dollars worth of peanuts were sold from the country to Italy. Italy was followed by Germany with 11 million 556 thousand dollars and Kazakhstan with 3 million 575 thousand dollars…
