Southeastern Anatolia’s exports of cereals, pulses, oilseeds and products surged by 9.8 percent in the first 3 months of the year and reached 913.2 million dollars.

The sector, which realised 30.9 percent of the total exports of the region, maintained its leadership in the exports of Southeastern Anatolia. In this period, 55.2 percent of Türkiye’s sunflower oil exports were made from this region with 149.2 million dollars and 67.3 percent of pasta exports were made from this region with 145.7 million dollars.
While the export price of sunflower oil soared by 26.3 percent to 1.48 dollars, the price of pasta decreased by 2.7 percent to 0.58 dollars.
According to country groups, exports to Africa, which ranked second after the Middle East in exports, increased by 47.6 percent; high volume exports to Djibouti, Ghana and Sudan increased. The highest exports were made to Iraq with 285.7 million dollars…
