The heart of production and the rhythm of technology will beat under the same roof. The exciting countdown has begun for AGROAYVALIK 2026, which will unite all stakeholders of agriculture and livestock farming under the same goal; the fair will open its doors in Altınova on May 15th.
Ayvalık district of Balıkesir province, where cultures, trade and production traditions have been intertwined for centuries, is ready to host a strategic organization that will change the course of international competition in the agriculture and livestock sectors; strengthening regional development, export potential, and investment activity. The North Aegean Agriculture and Livestock Fair, AGROAYVALIK 2026, will bring together representatives from the political, business, and agricultural worlds, as well as professional chambers, sector associations, and civil society organizations on the same platform. The fair, which aims to contribute to regional production power, agricultural investment, and collaborations, will open its doors with a ceremony to be held at Altınova Indoor Market on May 15, 2026, at 12:00.
A STRONG FUTURE WITH SMART AGRICULTURE…
Stating that they see it as a historical responsibility to pass on the bounty of the land and the values of this ancient culture to future generations in a stronger way, Ayvalık Mayor Mesut Ergin said, “Ayvalık, with its fertile lands, olive groves and production culture, is one of the strongest agricultural centres of the Northern Aegean. Protecting the bounty offered by these lands and passing it on to future generations in a stronger way is of great importance to us. Agriculture and animal husbandry are one of the fundamental parts of Ayvalık’s economy, as well as its social life and cultural identity.”
“Today, agriculture is no longer an area that can be sustained only with traditional methods. Climate change, increasing costs and competitive conditions in the world make the use of technology in production mandatory. Therefore, we see AGROAYVALIK 2026 as an important organization that will bring producers together with new generation agricultural and animal husbandry technologies on May 15, 2026 at Altınova Indoor Market,” he noted.
“Our fair, which will open its doors, will take place in an area of 10,000 square metres with the participation of over 100 companies. We believe that the four-day event will provide strong collaborations,” he added…
