Mersin Agropark, Türkiye’s first and only Technology Development Zone (TDZ) in the field of agriculture and food, continues its R&D and technological innovation activities without slowing down.

Agropark, which has approximately 800 decares of land and 3,600 square metres of closed office space in Alifakı and Reşadiye neighbourhoods in eastern Mediterranean province of Mersin’s Tarsus district, hosts innovative projects for the agriculture and food sector.

M. Murat Hocagil, General Manager of Agropark, stated that this centre is a technology and production centre implemented in cooperation with the public, university and private sector.
‘With this project, Çukurova Region will turn into a production base in the field of agricultural technologies,’ said Hocagil, adding that important opportunities are offered to support R&D studies in the agriculture and food sectors.

University faculty members are offered the opportunity to establish companies in technology development zones, become partners and take part in their management…
By providing support for doctoral students, companies in the zone are provided with support equal to the gross amount of the minimum wage for two years for the R&D personnel employed by doctoral students…
By introducing the opportunity to work remotely, more flexible working conditions are offered to the personnel of companies operating in the zone…
Remote working is provided at a rate of 100% for IT personnel and 75% for other R&D personnel…
Land and office support is provided for R&D projects, while Technology Transfer Office services and infrastructure support are also provided…
