KEMAL KAÇMAZ: TANGERINE EXPORTS WILL START ON SEPTEMBER 28

National Citrus Council (UNK) Chairperson Kemal Kaçmaz stated that the new season of tangerine exports will start on September 28.

Kemal Kaçmaz, Chair of National Citrus Council, in his written statement, reminded that the new citrus export season started with Mayer type lemons on 20 August.

Indicating that they have high expectations for the season, Kaçmaz said, “Cutting of tangerines, one of the citrus products, will start on September 22.”

Wishing the producers success in the harvest season, Kaçmaz added, “As a result of the examinations carried out by the citrus cutting and export commission in our region, it was determined that the tangerine (okitsu and miho-wase) varieties reached the required maturity. This product was allowed to be cut on September 22 and exported on September 28. We wish our exporters to have a good season.”
