Izmir Commodity Exchange (ITB) has signed a new collaboration agreement with n11.com platform for producers and merchants who are the backbone of the agricultural sector, in order to improve their trade potential and adapt them to the digital age.
In this project implemented by ITB and n11.com with the “win and win” principle, it is aimed to create a sales channel that offers special benefits to ITB members who are members of the n11.com platform.
With the cooperation protocol signed in June, the joint action and cooperation of the parties within the scope of the project allows ITB member companies to become a member of the n11 portal as a “seller”, thereby increasing the sales volumes of the members through digital channels. In this way the members who want to meet their products with millions of customers via n11.com without paying an extra cost.
The social responsibility pillar of the ITB and n11.com cooperation will be to ensure that farmers and businesses serving in the agricultural sector can take an active role in e-commerce activities.
During the Covid-19 epidemic, which affects the whole world, e-commerce activities are constantly changing and transforming and this change is shaped according to customer demands, so farmers and businesses operating in the field of agriculture can continue their e-commerce activities effectively in the new period,
Online training support will be provided to help them improve. In line with this purpose, n11.com will transfer a certain part of the turnover from the sales generated by this project to support ITB’s projects in the field of agriculture and education.
