HAMZA BÖLÜK ELECTED AS THE NEW CHAIR OF NATIONAL HAZELNUT COUNCIL…

In the ordinary general assembly of the National Hazelnut Council (UFK) held in Trabzon (a Black Sea province) last week, the delegates, chosen from the professional groups, elected the president. Hamza Bölük, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Giresun Commodity Exchange, has become the chairman of the National Hazelnut Council (UFK) for a 3-year term.

The delegates of the National Hazelnut Council determined last week, elected the chairman of the council. Delegates chosen from professional groups decided that Hamza Bölük, who is also the Chairman of the Board of Giresun Commodity Exchange, should be the chairman.

While Arslan Soydan, Union of Turkish Agricultural Chambers Board Member, will serve as the vice-chairman in the new board of the Council to be chaired by Hamza Bölük, the former Chair of the Council, Sebahattin Arslantürk, has been appointed as the treasurer.

Other members of the Board of Directors are Levent Başaran (Akçakoca Chamber of Agriculture), Ziver Kahraman (Ordu Commodity Exchange), Adem Sarı (Sakarya Commodity Exchange), Mustafa Poyraz (Poyraz Gıda), Ali Haydar Gören (Chair of İstanbul Hazelnut and Products Exporters’ Association) and Ercan Türktemel (Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Representative).
