Dependence on imports and high exchange rates at home and the energy crisis abroad had increased fertilizer prices by 157 percent in the last year. With the decision published in the Official Gazette, the scope of fertilizer exports was expanded in terms of fertilizer types and added to the list of goods subject to export registration.

DAP (Diamonium phosphate) and NPK fertilizers, which were in the 49th and 51st rows of the list of registered goods, were removed from the list, with the communiqué published in today’s issue of the Official Gazette and amending the list in the appendix of the communiqué on the goods whose export is subject to registration.
However, the export of fertilizer types included in the customs tariff statistics position with the 3101, 3102, 3103, 3104 and 3105 GTIP numbers has been extended to include the previously listed DAP and NPK fertilizers.
