Global co-operation for precision agriculture technologies!

Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA), the pioneer of regenerative agriculture, has announced a global strategic alliance with Turkish precision agriculture technology company Topraq to enhance access to regenerative solutions.

This collaboration will contribute to a more informed, efficient and profitable agricultural future.
Topraq is a specialised company that uses sensor data to optimise inputs such as water, energy and fertiliser and ramp up the profitability of agribusinesses in Türkiye and surrounding countries.
Since 2006, AEA has partnered with more than 10,000 growers on four million acres in the US and around the world to successfully implement restorative agriculture methods, a growing market worth 3.6 million dollars and supports growers with various combinations of plant nutrition products, biologicals, expert agricultural advice, plant and soil testing, data-driven crop nutrition programmes and real-time analysis.

Farmers’ access to regenerative agriculture solutions will increase…

The strategic alliance, which includes Topraq’s investment in Advancing Eco Agriculture (AEA), a pioneer in regenerative agriculture, will strengthen both companies’ solutions for growers looking to adopt regenerative agricultural practices in citrus, grapes, cotton and other high-value crops. With more advanced technologies such as precision analyses and plant nutrition products, the strategic alliance will provide farmers with the necessary agricultural expertise to grow healthy crops, improve soil health and ultimately increase farm profitability. The strategic alliance will increase access to regenerative agriculture solutions, especially for farmers in Southeast Europe, Western and Central Asia, where Topraq has a strong presence, which is critical in the global food supply chain.

‘Regenerative agriculture is a method that will revolutionise global agriculture’

‘AEA and Topraq believe that regenerative agriculture is the path to revolutionise global agriculture,’ said Eric Girdler, CEO of AEA. “By joining forces, we are expanding access to regenerative agriculture solutions that will positively impact our food system and build a more resilient future for generations to come.”

The partnership of the two companies is also the basis for promoting the solutions that Topraq and AEA offer together in Türkiye and neighbouring countries. These solutions will include Croptix, a precision agriculture technology platform for early detection of plant nutrition and diseases in the field, for which AEA is a strategic investor and development partner for on-site nutrient analysis. A technology that has particularly benefited citrus growers, a key market for Topraq, Croptix can detect early signs of Huanglongbing (HLB) citrus greening disease, one of the most devastating citrus diseases in the world.

Stating that the strategic collaboration with AEA will serve as an important bridge for the holistic evaluation of agricultural data, Cem Ertal, CEO of Topraq, explained, “Topraq’s investment in AEA once again demonstrates our commitment to innovation and our mission to bring producers together with state-of-the-art agricultural solutions. We believe that meaningful data is of critical importance; therefore, we adopt the ‘If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it’ approach. By combining AEA’s expertise with our technology, we will enable growers to make science-based decisions that will improve crop performance, reduce input costs and enhance environmental sustainability. This means taking precision agriculture practices to the next level.”

Pointing out that regenerative agriculture will always be a combination of observation, intuition and technology, AEA founder and Vision Director John Kempf added, “But AEA’s mantra is ‘Don’t guess, test’. Precise tests that provide real-time data help producers improve their agricultural production processes and increase their profits.”

About Topraq…

Founded in 2019, Topraq provides advanced sensor technology and AI-powered tools to optimise farmers’ decision-making processes, increase productivity and improve crop yields. The company was founded to overcome the challenges of agricultural data constraints and provide actionable insights to revolutionise farm management.
To date, Topraq has processed billions of data points, taking more than 6 million sensor readings every day. These sensors monitor critical factors such as weather conditions, soil moisture, stem sap flow and fruit development. Now, with the integration of AEA’s advanced nutrient management technology, Topraq provides farmers with a comprehensive, data-driven understanding of their crops’ nutrient needs, enabling them to make informed decisions for healthier and more productive farms.
