German Agriculture Minister Alois Rainer stated that they aim to strengthen cooperation and trade relations with Türkiye in the agriculture and food sectors.

The German Ministry of Agriculture issued a statement regarding Rainer’s visit to Türkiye, scheduled for September 16–17.
The statement highlighted Türkiye’s status as a key trading partner for Germany and noted that Rainer would meet with representatives from the German and Turkish business communities during his visit.
In comments included in the statement regarding his trip to Türkiye, Rainer emphasized the goal of expanding export opportunities for the agriculture and food sectors and enhancing cooperation with Türkiye.
“My aim is to create new opportunities for our agriculture and food sectors within the framework of our agricultural export strategy,” Rainer said, highlighting the importance of trade relations between Turkey and Germany.
Noting that cooperation between reliable trading partners has become increasingly important amidst global geopolitical challenges, Rainer stated, “It is of great importance for reliable trading partners like Türkiye and Germany to work in close cooperation, especially during this period of global geopolitical challenges.”
Discussions between Rainer and Türkiye’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, in Ankara are expected to cover bilateral relations in the agriculture and food sectors as well as opportunities for commercial cooperation…
