FINANCIAL SUPPORT FOR THE HEIR OF AGRICULTURAL LANDS…

Within the scope of the goals included in the Presidential Annual Programme, division of agricultural lands through inheritance and sales will be prevented, financial support will be provided to the heirs in land acquisition.

Soil Information System…

Efforts will be made to facilitate the access of heirs to finance in order to prevent the division of land by inheritance. Preparation of agricultural land use plans based on Soil Information System will be completed. The plains, the detection of which is completed, will be declared “Great plain protection area”. Detected plain borders will be updated. Arrangements will be made for the establishment of a land banking system in order to develop agricultural land markets, especially for the conversion of idle land to agricultural production and thus contracted production will be supported and encouraged by legal regulations.

Farmers to be encouraged…

Due to the demands coming from non-agricultural sectors such as urbanization and industrialization, the need for land gradually increased and efforts to prepare land use plans in order to balance the protection-use in agriculture, forest, meadow and pasture areas were accelerated. Incentive implementations will be initiated to bring unused agricultural lands and fallow lands to agriculture due to exit from the sector.
