The peak of agricultural products exports in the Aegean Region changed hands. Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association hit the top with an export of 985 million dollars year-on- year.
As of 2019, Fisheries and Animal Products Exporters’ Association was the owner of the lead.
Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association realized 985 million dollars out of 5 billion 70 million dollars of total agricultural exports from the Aegean Region in the last year.
The Association exported 655.5 million dollars of fruit and vegetable end-products, while it exported 329.6 million dollars of fresh fruit and vegetables.
Stating that members of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters’ Association continue to produce and export under difficult conditions during the pandemic period, Hayrettin Uçak, Chairman of the Board, said, “The development of our country will be possible with exports. The labour and efforts of our exporters are of vital importance in this process. We are in a position to reach the billion dollar export target by the end of September.”
“Our members, who pushed up the exports of the Aegean Fresh Fruit and Vegetable Exporters Association to 985 million dollars with a rise of 15 percent in the last year, are fulfilling their responsibilities with great success,” Uçak added.
“We aim to increase the agricultural product exports of the Aegean Region to 10 billion dollars with the driving force of the Specialized Organized Industrial Zones based on Agriculture, first of which was established in Dikili district in the Aegean Region,” Uçak concluded…
