The lavender harvest has begun in Darende district of Malatya, where lavender is grown as an alternative crop to apricots.

Lavender production, which was started as a trial 6 years ago in Yukarıulupınar neighborhood by the Es-Seyyid Osman Hulusi Efendi Foundation, has gradually become one of the notable agricultural activities in the district.
