Between April 24 and May 24, 2026, the media campaign conducted in Japan as part of the Turkish Salmon from Black Sea TURQUALITY Project, run by the Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association (DKİB), was successfully completed.

The campaign included video advertisements, banner ads, advertorials and print media work in Nikkei Online, one of Japan’s leading economic publications and Suisan Keizai, a prominent publication in the seafood and fisheries sector.
The campaign, aimed at enhancing awareness of Turkish salmon in the Japanese market, reaching industry professionals and strengthening the perception of product quality, generated over 1.49 million video initiates, over 158,000 video views and over 12,800 completed video views. During the campaign, the turkishsalmon.org website was visited by over 2,300 users.
The campaign results revealed that Turkish salmon continues to attract interest not only in the Japanese market but also on an international scale. During the campaign period, turkishsalmon.org was visited by tourists from different parts of the world and our association received commercial information and supply requests for Turkish salmon from various countries.
This work, carried out in one of the world’s most selective markets regarding quality, sustainability and product reliability, such as Japan, was an important step in increasing the international visibility of Turkish salmon and strengthening its brand value.
The Eastern Black Sea Exporters Association will resolutely continue its promotional activities in the coming period within the scope of the Turkish Salmon from Black Sea TURQUALITY Project, aimed at enhancing the awareness of Turkish salmon in target markets and strengthening its position in global markets.
