Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry (Çamlı Yem Besicilik), which was established in 1983 as the representative of Yaşar Group in agriculture, livestock and fishery sectors and has been leading its sectors since its establishment, has put into operation its new facility with an annual processing and packaging capacity of 55 million aquaculture fish in Bornova district of Izmir.
Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry, which contributes to the sustainable development of agriculture, animal husbandry and fishery sectors with innovative solutions, exports approximately 80 percent of its products. Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry, which exports to more than 20 countries, added England and Thailand to the countries it exports to in 2024.
‘It has an annual processing and packaging capacity of 55 million pieces of aquaculture fish’
Stating that the production capacity will increase with the new facility and they will be more assertive in foreign markets, Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry General Manager Tunç Tuncer said that as Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry, they are the pioneer of aquaculture sector in Türkiye.

Highlighting that for 40 years, they have been working to grow and develop the sector, Tuncer said, “Our contribution to the economy of our country continues to ramp up with our new, modern and productivity-enhancing investments. Our new facility has an annual processing and packaging capacity of 55 million pieces of aquaculture fish. The fish we grow in our farms will add flavour to the tables all around the country and the world after the final packaging process in our new facility. With our new facility, we will produce both processed and frozen sea bass and sea bream products specially packaged for foreign markets as well as products for the domestic market.”
Pointing out that the demand for animal protein including meat, milk and fish continues to surge worldwide due to the rising world population, Tuncer added, “Our country has an important position in the world in the production and export of fishery products. Türkiye is the leader in the European market, especially in species such as sea bass and sea bream. We, as Çamlı Feed and Animal Husbandry, exported approximately 28 million dollars to more than 20 countries in 2024 by adding important markets such as Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, the United States, Ukraine, Russia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the United Kingdom and Thailand. With our new facility, we will both provide faster and higher quality service to our consumers in the domestic market and enhance our export activities to many countries of the world.”
