TEA CONSUMPTION RISES IN TURKEY AS DIVERSITY INCREASES…

Than we have produced 35 thousand tons more tea compared to previous years. But our stocks are the same. We produce more product yet we were able to sell and drink. We can see that the increase in tea consumption across the country. It is possible to say that tea consumption in Turkey raised to 260 thousand tons. I think that the yield appears to be the same this year.”

‘TEA DIVERSITY INCREASES’

Pointing out that apart from black tea, tea has been diversified with many products, Erdoğan added, “Very special green teas are produced. Very nice teas are produced and sold in the area of ​​Of to Sarp regions. Producing and offering varieties of green tea in addition to the white tea, maybe it will enable us to produce special products such as teas sold to thousands of dollars in China tomorrow.
