USA is the leader in dried fig exports…
In the 2022/23 season, the United States was at the top of dried fig exports from Türkiye with an amount of 39.7 million dollars. Dried figs to the USA were 31.9 million dollars in the same period in the 2021/22 season. Dried fig exports to the USA soared by 24 per cent.
France ranked second in dried fig exports with 28.5 million dollars, while Germany took the third place with 27.3 million dollars.

The Aegean Dried Fruits and Products Exporters’ Association’s efforts towards the People’s Republic of China, which it has identified as a target market and has been promoting for many years, bore fruit in the 2022/23 season. Dried fig exports to the People’s Republic of China rose from 3.1 million dollars to 9.6 million dollars with a record rise of 184 per cent.
